You should focus on a figure or event in U.S. history that is not typically discussed in mainstream U.S. history. (Suggestions: Black Wallstreet, Ida B. Wells, Sojourner Truth, a different version of Malcolm X, Tuskegee Experiment, redlining, Chinese Exclusion Act, Marsha P. Johnson).
